The Miami Heat Are Currently in An Impasse in Trading Jimmy Butler. Butler is Currently Serving A 7 Game Suspension From The Team, After Expressing A Desire to Be Moved to The Public.
Miami Has Faced Difficulty As Jimmy is Owed $48M This Year. As He's Already Told Teams Such As The Bucks and Grizzlies, to Not Trade for Him, As He Also Desiring A New Multi-Year Contract.
Jimmy Does Share A Mutual Interest With The Phoenix Suns, As They're Reportedly Open to Signing Him to A New Multi-Year Contract,
Per @brianwindhorstespn
The Biggest Impediment They Face, is That 3x All Star Bradley Beal Would Have to Be Included in A Trade Package to Make The Money Work. Though, Beal Would Have to Waive His No-Trade Clause to Make it Work. Currently He Has No Interest im Doing So, Unless it is A Trade to The Lakers, Nuggets, or Clippers.
The Suns Are Currently 17-19, After Moving Bradley Beal And Jusuf Nurkic to The Bench. Beal Has Scored 25+ Points, in Two of The Three Games He's Come Off The Bench So Far. With Phoenix 2-1 in That Stretch.
Phoenix Seems Steadfast in Making A Move to Amplify The Roster Surrounding Kevin Durant And Devin Booker. As Jimmy Butler is Indicating His Best Days in Miami Are Behind Him.
We'll See if This is A Play to Get The Heat to Commit to A Long-Term Extension. Or if He is Desiring A Move That Will Shake Up The NBA.
